X5 Group to buy 15 St Petersburg Prisma stores from Finland firm

MOSCOW, Jun 16 (PRIME) -- Russian retailer X5 Group will buy 15 Prisma malls owned by Finland's SOK Retail in St. Petersburg, the company said in a statement on Thursday.

" X5 Group… and SOK RETAIL INT. OY, a Finnish holding company that has announced its withdrawal from Russia, confirm that they have reached an agreement under which X5 will acquire the operator of PRISMA supermarkets (15 stores in total) in St Petersburg, as well as a kitchen facility," X5 Group said.

The Federal Antimonopoly Service earlier approved the deal. The amount was not disclosed.
